The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry the attack by the terrorist organization Daesh that targeted the "Sradar Mohammed Daoud Khan," military hospital on May 8, in the Afghan capital Kabul, killing about 49 people and injuring 76 others.
The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, calling on God Almighty to inspire patience and fortitude in them, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. He stressed that Egypt's government and people stand in solidarity with the government and people of Afghanistan in the face of terrorism. He also reiterated Egypt's call on the international community for the need of concerted international efforts to combat the phenomenon of terrorism.
