The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned in the strongest terms in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the two terrorist incidents that occurred in London today, resulting in the deaths of a number of victims.
The Foreign Ministry's spokesperson expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He stressed that these events reaffirm the danger of the phenomenon of terrorism, which targets everyone regardless of race or religion. He added that the terrorist incidents in London draw attention once again to the fact that terrorist organizations can infiltrate communities and tamper with their security and stability despite the security measures being taken. This requires a comprehensive approach to confront terrorist organizations that involves intellectual, financial and security aspects, and concerted efforts to stop the spread of the destructive thought adopted by these oppressive groups.
